Element55 Joins BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program to Deliver Zero Click Time Capture to Legal Professionals
March 7, 2006 - Cambridge, MA - Element55, creator of automatic time capture software Legal55, today announced that the company has joined the BlackBerry® ISV Alliance Program and is offering Legal55 Handheld edition to users of BlackBerry, from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM).
Said Element55 CEO Ray Deck, “This alliance solidifies Element55’s commitment to providing software to automatically capture billable hours for professionals, wherever they are, without a single click.â€Â
Legal55 Handheld Edition for BlackBerry, launched in 2005, runs in the background to track time spent on incoming and outgoing emails, as well as phone calls made on voice-capable BlackBerry devices. Time entries based on individual activities are sent to the attorney’s private timesheet over BlackBerry Enterprise Server™.
Time can be managed on BlackBerry using a special version of the intuitive, drag-and-drop based interface familiar to users of the Legal55 Time Capture System, or at their desk, before committing time to be posted to billing.
Users of Legal55 Enterprise Edition can manage time captured from desktop applications and the office phone on their BlackBerry, or manage time captured on the BlackBerry at their workstation. All time is captured and organized into a single, activity-based timesheet for review without having to start or stop a clock.
We will now display the alliance logo on our materials related to zero-click time on the BlackBerry:
